The
Admission is at Class VI and the intake is 80 students who are selected
through an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted on the 2nd
Sunday of February every year Nature
of Selection Test : Objective
type Test of two hours duration carrying 100 marks with 60% weightage
for Mental ability, 20% for Arithmetic & 20% for language.
The medium of test for a candidate will be the medium through
which the candidate is studying in class V. A Candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying in Class-V for the whole of the academic session in a Government/Government aided or other recognized schools or schools under schemes of ?Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan 75%
of the seats are reserved for Rural Students. A Candidate claiming
admission from rural quota must have studied and passed classes III, IV
and V from a Govt./Govt.aided/recognized school located in a Rural area. 25%
of the seats are reserved for urban students. A Candidate who has
studied from a school located in Urban area even for a day
in the III, IV or V Class would be considered as Urban Candidate. 33%
of the seats are reserved for Girls. 3%
of the seats are reserved for disabled Candidates. Minimum
of 15% are reserved for
SC/ST Candidates. Navodaya
Vidyalaya Samiti has made provisions for students to get into the
existing vacant seats at class IX and XI. A
Common entrance test is
conducted in the month of May/June every year for Lateral entry
admissions in Class IX. However admissions in Class XI are made
according to their Class X marks and admission norms are fixed by
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for various streams.

Details A
Nominal fee of Rs.200/- p.m. is collected from the students only
from Classes IX to XII. However children belonging to SC/ST, Girl
students, Physically
handicapped and students from
families whose income is below poverty line are exempted from payment of
fee. How
